ABOUT EIIG
EIIG, led by the visionary founder Ahmed Abou Hashima, is a driving force in Egypt’s economic and manufacturing landscape. Abou Hashima’s unconditional commitment to his country, combined with his remarkable entrepreneurial spirit, has led him and his multi-disciplinary team to establish the EIIG, an industrial investment group with a focus on building an integrated portfolio of investments.

The EIIG team has previously launched, settled, operated and successfully exited several thriving businesses, including Egyptian Steel Group, Egyptian Media and Egyptian Cement.

  • EGYPTIAN STEEL
    Egyptian Steel Group, founded in 2010, operates four eco-friendly steel plants in Egypt and is considered one of the key players in the region. With a production capacity of 2.3 million tons of steel products per year and investments of USD 1 billion, the group ensures high quality and compliance with international standards. They employ fast-speed technology, reducing production time to just two hours and minimizing dust emissions by 30-40%. The group prioritizes sustainable development by saving energy (25-30%) and treating wastewater for reuse. Their plants in Beni Suef and Ain Al Sokhna also have power sub-stations.
  • EGYPTIAN CEMENT
    Ahmed Abou Hashima founded Egyptian Cement in 2017 as part of his vision to become a primary source of building materials in Upper-Egypt. With an investment of over UDS 300 million and an annual capacity of 2 million tons, Egyptian Cement is a leading player in the manufacturing industry. The plant in Sohag Governorate contributes to the economic development of Upper Egypt by producing high-quality cement using innovative and eco-friendly technology.
  • EGYPTIAN MEDIA
    Egyptian Media Group was founded in 2016 to revolutionize the media industry in Egypt and the Arab world. The group comprises over 17 companies in print, broadcast, and digital media, including prominent channels and newspapers. With a focus on content standards and marketing concepts, EMG vision is to ensure Egypt's leadership in the media sector through cutting-edge technologies and a talented team.
