Mohamed Magdy is an experienced legal professional with more than 15 years of experience in commercial law. He has a proven track record of delivering positive results through multi- discipline teams and cross-culture environments in technical, commercial and operational demands.
Before joining EIIG, he served as the Group Legal Counsel and Head of Group Legal Department for Egyptian Steel Group since October 2012. In this role, he established the group’s legal department, provided in-house legal consultation for all the group companies and played a key role in the construction of two mini mills.
Mohamed was also responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and legal documents and was a member of the executive committee, human resources committee and ethics committee.
Earlier, Mohamed served as a Legal Counsel at El Sewedy Electric Group and a Senior Corporate Lawyer at Egyptian Airports Co.
Mohamed holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Cairo University’s Law School.
